For the past 2 years, we have partnered wtih the Watauga Association of Baptists in Tennessee and sought to serve the city of Mountain City, TN and our partner church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, in that community.

We have done various activities to faciltate this: 

Teaching Bible Studies to Children in Backyard Bible Clubs,
Ministering in an area nursing home,
Sharing the Gospel door-to-door and in the community,
Construction/home repair projects to those who need it,
Helping with Block Parties as publicity for area churches and looking for opportunites to share Christ,
and serving in the community as we see need, such as at a local Abortion Alternatives/Crisis Pregnancy Clinic.

We are seeking to discover our Spiritual Gifts and talents as a church and mobilize our church family for a successful trip on July 9-15, 2011.
